Question: How soon is too soon to place my favor/accessory order?

Answer: Our philosophy at Favorable Expressions is that it is NEVER too soon to place your order. Have time be on YOUR side. It will not only give you a tremendous sense of accomplishment as you cross these important details off of your extremely long "to do" list, but you will also have a feeling of relief in knowing that you have placed your accessory/favor needs in the very capable hands of dependable individuals who care very much about your satisfaction.


Question: Do you create custom designed favors?

Answer: YES! Custom designed creations are our specialty at Favorable Expressions. Please visit our Custom Designed Favors page for further details. Favorable Expressions was born from the desire to create unique, fine quality favors for any and all occasions. Our primary goal when designing custom favors for an event is to get a sense from each of our client(s) of their personal desire of expression on their very special day. Owner Nancy Crain takes pride in her ability to design a favor that can embrace any theme and/or mood that a client may desire. From an elegant aura of romance to a vivid splash of fun, a Favorable Expressions custom designed favor not only captures the essence of your event, but enhances the atmosphere of your event, leaving your guests with a lasting memory of your special occasion.


Question: What is the Totally Touchable™ Factor?

Answer: There's nothing quite like the feeling of the finest quality of ribbon as it sweeps between your fingers to form a sumptuous bow, or the rich addition of elegant satin rose petals to delicately nest a treasure within a rich organza bag. That is why at Favorable Expressions the materials used to create our fine assortment of favors must achieve the "Totally Touchable" factor. If it doesn't feel fabulous to the touch then it doesn't go in to a Favorable Expressions Favor! At Favorable Expressions, nothing less will do!


Question: What in the world is the WOW Factor™?

Answer: Whether it is burning the midnight oil developing a creation in the F.E. favor lab, or pounding the pavement in our never-ending search for fabulously spectacular items to offer, when feasting our eyes on a creation or a "find," and "WOW" comes to mind, then THAT is the F.E. Question: Are my personal information and transactions secure?

Answer: All on-line transactions with Favorable Expressions are completely secure. We value our customer's privacy very highly and we handle your personal data with the highest level of confidentiality and security, using proven and effective encryption and secure transaction safeguards. Payment transactions are made through PayPal®, which is a highly secured and encrypted company with a solid track record for dependability, confidentiality and respect for privacy.


Question: Can I special order less than the minimum order requirement of any item?

Answer: Favorable Expressions does specify minimum order requirements for many of the items on our Website. These minimum quantities can be found contained within each product description. It is our desire at F.E. to do our very best to accommodate our customer's needs, and under some circumstances minimum requirements can be adjusted, however, additional charges will usually apply. Please contact us with your inquiry and we will be happy to evaluate your specific request. Note: You may order any quantity in addition to the order minimum, unless otherwise specified.


Question: How long will it take for my order to be processed once it has been placed?

Answer: Our goal at F.E. is to begin processing orders within 24 hours of order receipt. Every order we receive is important to us and we strive to provide you with the smoothest ordering experience possible. We strongly recommend placing your order well in advance to avoid any possible timing issues. (Orders by personal check will be processed once check clearance has been received. Please allow 7 additional business days for check processing when calculating your approximate delivery date.)


Question: How long will it take to receive my order?

Answer: Contained within each product listing there is an estimated delivery time provided. When calculating your estimated delivery schedule, please be sure to factor shipping time into the anticipated arrival date. (Orders by personal check will be processed once check clearance has been received. Please allow 7 additional business days for check processing when calculating your approximate delivery date.)


Question: Can I place my order over the phone?

Answer: We do not take phone orders at this time. The most efficient way to place your order with Favorable Expressions is via the Website (credit card payment made through PayPal®), by faxing your order, or mailing your order. Please visit our contact page for additional information. We are delighted to receive your phone calls for inquiries, questions, or Custom Favor discussion.


Question: What happens if specific materials/items are no longer available?

Answer: When dealing with so many products, so many materials and so many options, it is possible for items to become back ordered, replaced, discontinued, have slight color variations, etc. Therefore, use of material(s) is based upon availability. When specific materials are not available, every effort will be made to replace material(s) with a similar substitution(s). In such circumstances, Favorable Expressions retains creative license when selecting such substitutions. If for whatever reason an item(s) is discontinued or there is no satisfactory substitution, Favorable Expressions will contact the customer to discuss further options.


Question: Do you provide samples?

Answer: Swatch samples may be provided, by request only, whenever possible. Some materials may not be available. Our product images serve as an excellent representation of the items that we offer and we have provided helpful photo inserts to aid in your option selections. However, due to differences in computer monitors, some color samples as shown may not accurately represent actual item color. Therefore, if a precise color match is essential, please contact us for swatch sample requests.


Question: How do I place my order with Favorable Expressions?

Answer: Our products are conveniently available for purchase on-line. Once you have made your item selection(s) simply click on the "buy" button which will take you to your shopping cart. From there you may choose to continue shopping or proceed to the "checkout" phase of your order. Follow the easy instructions as spelled out on our order form to complete the ordering process.


Question: What methods of payment are accepted?

Answer: Favorable Expressions offers three (3) options for your ordering convenience. We accept credit cards through our payment vendor, PayPal®, for on-line ordering. We also accept money orders, as well as pre-payment by personal check. When using either a personal check or money order, please print out and complete (in detail) an order form and mail with your enclosed check or money order. Visit our contact page for mailing address information. Please allow 7 business days for check clearance. Your order will be processed once clearance has been received. This information is important to consider when calculating your anticipated delivery date.


Question: Will state sales tax apply to my order?

Answer: An 8.25% sales tax will be charged to all orders that are shipped within the state of California. Orders placed outside of the state of California are exempt from sales tax.


Question: What is your shipping policy?

Answer: Our method of shipment is FedEx Ground or USPS. Shipping rates apply to Continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii will incur additional charges.

Warm weather shipping: From June through September, orders of candles and chocolates may be subject to additional shipping charges to prevent melting. You will receive notification of additional charges if said conditions apply.

Oversize or overweight shipping: Heavier items may be subject to higher shipping charges. You will receive notification of additional charges if said conditions apply.


Question: What are your shipping rates?

Answer: We strive to keep shipping and handling prices as low as possible, while providing your precious cargo with the best treatment while in transit. Currently, our shipping rates are as follows:

   • $0.01 - $30.00    $7.50
   • $30.01 - $60.00    $9.50
   • $60.01 - $100.00    $12.50
   • $100.01 - $150.00    $15.50
   • $150.01 - $200.00    $19.95
   • $200.01 - $350.00    $24.95

Question: Does Favorable Expressions ship internationally?

Answer: Unfortunately, at this time we do not ship internationally. We hope to offer our products to our international customers in the near future.


Question: What happens once I place my order?

Answer: Once your order has been placed you will receive an order confirmation via electronic mail. This confirmation will contain your specific order information. Carefully review the contents for accuracy at this time. Please notify Favorable Expressions immediately of any incorrect information contained within this order confirmation. Unless we are notified immediately, orders will be processed as received.


Question: May I check on the status of my order?

Answer: If you have any questions regarding the status of your order please feel free to contact Favorable Expressions and we will be more than happy to update you on the progress of your order. Please be sure to include your name and order number with your inquiry.


Question: How long will it take to receive my order once it has been shipped?

Answer: Depending upon your location in the United States, once your order is shipped, it can take from 2 - 5 business days to reach your destination. When calculating your anticipated delivery date, we recommend using a formula combining the estimated time of delivery as stated within each item's description, in combination with the estimated time for shipment of your item(s). Remember that ordering early is highly recommended. It can never hurt to place your order well in advance of your scheduled event. The luxury of ordering your items with time to spare is a wonderful advantage when it comes to planning for special occasions. SPECIAL NOTE: If you have ordered multiple items, your entire order will be shipped when the entire order is complete. Therefore, please calculate your delivery date based on the item with the longest estimated delivery time.


Question: May I cancel my order at any time?

Answer: Once your order is placed the process begins immediately. Therefore, please take care to review your order thoroughly before submitting. You may contact Favorable Expressions within 24 hours of the placement of your order with the intent to cancel. We will make every attempt to accommodate your request. If your order can be canceled within that 24 hour period, a 20% cancelation fee will be applied. Due to the customized nature, the orders that have been completely processed cannot be canceled.


Question: Are proofs provided for personalized items?

Answer: No proofs are supplied before printing/engraving, THEREFORE, please review your text carefully and completely before submitting your order. Your personalized text, as submitted with your original order, will be included in your electronic mail (e-mail) order confirmation. Please review it carefully. If any error is detected, please notify Favorable Expressions immediately with your correction(s). Unless Favorable Expressions receives a notice of correction within a 24-hour period of the placement of your order, your personalized text will be processed as submitted with your original order.


Question: What is your return/exchange policy at Favorable Expressions?

Answer: When placing favor orders, please choose carefully. Due to their highly customized nature, there are NO returns/refunds on favors. Also, special orders, personalized, engraved or edible/perishable items are not returnable.

Returns: We at Favorable Expressions are completely confident that you will be totally satisfied with the quality of our products. However, if by chance you are not satisfied, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order to acquire *authorization to return, exchange, or replace your item(s). No unauthorized return/exchange will be accepted. After receiving authorization you will then be issued an Authorization Number. This authorization number must accompany your returned items and be clearly visible on the exterior of your package. We ask that you include a copy of your invoice for greater ease in the return/exchange process. We also request that you choose an insured shipping provider as Favorable Expressions is not responsible for loss or damage incurred on the return trip. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please be sure to return your authorized order in its original state and original packaging. Authorized returns must be received within 7 days from the date of authorization. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Damaged Items: On rare occasions, if any of your favors/items arrive damaged, please contact Favorable Expressions immediately for your *Replacement Authorization number. We will gladly replace the damaged item(s) at no additional cost to you. Please return the damaged item(s) in their original packaging within 7 days. This is important to us at F.E. so that we may evaluate the cause of damage allowing us to better serve our customers in the future. We cannot accept damaged merchandise that has not been *authorized for replacement and does not have a Replacement Authorization Number clearly visible on the return mailing label.

Processing Time:Once your return/exchange has been received, our goal is to process your *refund, exchange, or replacement request within 48 - 72 hours. COD returns will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse items that are not returned to us within 2 weeks of authorization. Absolutely NO refunds, exchanges or replacement requests will be issued after 30 days.

Favorable Expressions reserves the right to refuse any returns, exchanges, or replacement requests that do not meet these conditions.

Question: Do you offer your items at wholesale prices?

Answer: Favorable Expressions is strictly a retail Website and we do not sell our products at wholesale prices.


Question: Do you offer a catalog of your products?

Answer: This is definitely the most frequently asked question received! Due to the constant creative juices that are always flowing here at Favorable Expressions, as well as our never-ending search for the finest and most unique items to add to our product collection, it is virtually impossible to offer a printed catalog that would be both complete and current.
